TheraVibe is a local, minority-owned company founded by Jose Perez and Ana Ramirez, experienced emergency and clinical healthcare professionals committed to providing honest, medically guided IV care.
Jose brings extensive frontline experience from his background as a firefighter-paramedic, while Ana is a Stanford-trained nurse with hospital and ICU experience, offering a strong foundation in clinical nutrition and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Together, they founded TheraVibe after recognizing how complex and expensive healthcare can be, and seeing an opportunity to deliver professional IV care that is more honest, accessible, and transparent, with clear recommendations and no unnecessary treatments or hidden costs.
Today, TheraVibe provides in-home clinical IV care across the Bay Area, delivering hydration, immune, and targeted nutrient support through thoughtful, expert-guided treatment. Every visit is designed to empower clients with clear education and care they can feel confident in, supporting both immediate relief and long-term health.
Meet Our Team
FounderJose Perez
Jose brings over eight years of frontline healthcare experience in emergency and pre-hospital settings. He has worked as a paramedic in a high-volume ambulance system and currently serves as a Firefighter-Paramedic, responding to a wide range of medical emergencies in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Through his work on the frontlines, Jose has developed a deep understanding of acute care, patient assessment, and the importance of timely, appropriate medical intervention. His experience has also given him firsthand insight into how many health issues could be better supported earlier, outside of emergency rooms and hospital settings, through clinically guided, preventative care.
Jose helps ensure all services are grounded in real medical judgment, safety, and evidence-based practice. His background in emergency medicine shapes the company’s commitment to calm, professional care and clear decision-making, bringing hospital-level standards into a mobile, in-home setting.
Ana Ramirez
Co-FounderAna is a Stanford-trained Registered Nurse with a background in cardiac and critical care. Her experience in hospital and ICU settings has shaped a deep commitment to preventative health and helping people stay well before they ever need a hospital bed.
As a child of immigrants, Ana is especially passionate about inclusivity and education in healthcare. She recognizes that wellness services can often feel exclusive or confusing, and co-founded TheraVibe to make IV hydration and nutrition more transparent, accessible, and easy to understand.
For Ana, IV care is about more than short-term relief. She is dedicated to being an honest, supportive partner in each client’s health journey, ensuring people feel informed, cared for, and confident in the care they receive, whether during an IV visit or through guidance from TheraVibe’s dietitian.
